Celebrating 90 Years

2009 was a milestone for the Company, seeing us celebrate 90 years in business. Founded in 1919 by Joe Davies the business is still in the Davies family to this day, with Peter Davies, Joe’s grandson, still serving as Chairman.

Steve Davies, Peter’s son, is Managing Director, the fourth generation of the family to take the Company forward into the future. Despite many changes, still at our core are the traditional, cherished values of service, low prices, and putting the customer first.
